Energy’s something we all need a little more of, right?
I think we all have never-ending to-do lists. I know I add more to my list every day and yet never seem to have the energy to get anything done on that list. To be fair, I blame my lack of a well-rounded diet for my zero energy. And add minimal sleep into that; I would like to share that my overall health is at the worst it’s ever been.
But, being a new parent will do that to you.
I know it’ll get better one day. However, I don’t want to let my health keep getting worse. I miss the taste of fruits and vegetables in my life. Sadly, with these insane grocery prices, affording those fresh fruits and vegetables is getting harder to do every week. (Queue internal freakout.)
That’s why I’ve developed a new appreciation for companies like Earth Energy and Balance of Nature. They both offer fruit and vegetable supplements that claim to give me my daily dosage of vitamins and minerals, all naturally derived from fruits/veggies.
And with everything getting so hard to afford these days, I wanted to compare Earth Energy vs. Balance of Nature together to see if one nutritional supplement is worth my money more. After all, I still want the best of the best, right?

Earth Energy
So, what is Earth Energy anyway?
Earth Energy is a company similar to Balance of Nature. They offer supplements filled with vitamins and minerals that have been naturally derived from fruits and vegetables. The team at Earth Energy claims their supplements help to support a daily healthy lifestyle while also boosting energy levels.
In addition, Earth Energy says the difference in their products is that they offer all-natural supplements that are made in a GMP Certified facility. Not to mention, everything they produce is made in the USA.
A Closer Look at Earth Energy
Here’s my thing, I don’t trust Earth Energy at all. Their user experience on their website is suspicious to me. It almost looks like a scam.
Their website is very hard to operate. No product descriptions, no links to the individual products. No information is available for any testing they’ve had on their supplements or links to research to back up the claims they made about their supplements.
They have a home page, but even the URL for that is weird. The only thing you’re able to click on, on their website is the ‘buy now’ or ‘shop now’ buttons. It reminds me of those sales funnel scams where people throw up a website fast, try to sell you an overpriced product, and end up scamming you.
The website just rubs me the wrong way. I don’t like it.
Ingredients
So inside of one bottle of Fruits and Veggies (which is a combo supplement), you’ll get a 30-day supply. You’ll need to take two capsules per serving. The capsule is made from gelatin, so it’s safe to assume this product isn’t vegan-friendly.
Inside of Earth Energy Fruits and Veggie supplement, you’ll find:
- Apple Fiber
- Beetroot
- Carrot root
- Tomato extract
- Strawberry fruit
- Garlic
- Blueberry
- Ginger
- Raspberry juice powder
- Red bell pepper
On the supplement facts found on the Earth Energy website, they list the Tomato Extract as having a 4:1 ratio, which I don’t understand. Plus, they list “strawberry fruit,” as if we don’t already know strawberry is a fruit? Why don’t they list “blueberry fruit” too? These supplement facts are confusing, and it makes me feel less confident that these are made in the USA. Adding in the “fruit” description with the strawberry reads almost like it was written by someone who doesn’t speak English as a first language (or maybe translated the ingredient list)?
I don’t know, but there are just too many things that are adding up here that make me suspicious.
Pros and Cons
Pros:
- Only have to take two pills a day
- $46 a bottle
- Free shipping is offered on the site, but a minimum order is required
Cons:
- The site is suspicious; it seems like a scam
- The ingredient list doesn’t make sense
- A small amount of product information available on the site
Balance of Nature
Phew, after that closer look at Earth Energy, I trust Balance of Nature so much more. Not only because I’ve had a wonderful experience with them, but because they look so much more legit online!
The history of Balance of Nature starts back in 1997, which is crazy to think about because I was born in 1998. Dr. Douglas Howard founded Balance of Nature after he spent many years researching nutrients and all of the other science stuff that goes into supplements and keeping our bodies healthy.
Inside of a serving of Balance of Nature Fruits and Veggies, you’ll consume ten servings of fruits
and vegetables. Plus, Balance of Nature also offers a fiber supplement. The fiber supplement you can just mix in with water, and it’s flavored like an apple!
If I had to pick ONE natural supplement, I would lean towards Balance of Nature here because it is more cost effective and focused greens and fruits offering. Plus, the customer service is GREAT and they don't lock into monthly payments. A Closer Look
Balance of Nature prides itself in using all-natural whole foods. They don’t add in any flute, sugar, GMOs, synthetics, or products treated with pesticides in their ingredients. I have seen a few people complain that Balance of Nature doesn’t have a USDA Organic certification. However, I’ve also seen arguments saying Balance of Nature has to go outside of the United States to get the quality ingredients they need to make their blend.
Plus, I love how easy it was to operate Balance of Nature’s site. They had sections dedicated to a complete breakdown of each of the products they were offering. Plus, the video testimonials added a nice touch too. The product descriptions weren’t lacking anything and I think the entire checkout process was easy, secure, and stress-free!
