When a wellness media mogul meets a supplement line, what do you get?
If you’ve followed wellness content over the last 15 years, you’ve likely heard of mindbodygreen: a husband-and-wife-owned brand that started producing content in 2009. Fast forward almost two decades, and mindbodygreen has become a popular hub for all things wellness, employing a dedicated team of wellness professionals across a diverse range of content and products, most notably their supplement line.
mindbodygreen offers a wide range of supplements. They simultaneously market themselves toward competitive athletes and in the vitamin aisle at your local grocery. Most of their products are for daily use by regular people: working professionals, busy parents, and active older adults.
Our team wanted to know how these products actually stacked up in real life. Are they worth the price, when health solutions seem to be in such limited supply? We took the liberty of finding out for you, so that you can shop (or pass) with confidence. Here is my Mindbodygreen supplement review

Mindbodygreen Fast Facts and Findings
The brand as a whole has a strong supplement line that is tailored to everyday people, rather than elite athletes. Their supplements support healthier living choices now and promote longevity down the road.
Here’s what we’d purchase or pass on from mindbodygreen:
Purchase:
- daily multivitamin+ – It has all the essentials plus added botanicals and antioxidants for longevity. And it’s vegan!
- creatine brain+ or creatine with taurine+ – These are creatine monohydrate supplements with Cognizin for better cognitive health (creatine brain+) or taurine for better performance and recovery (creatine with taurine+).
- organic fiber+ – This easy-to-use supplement mixes easily into almost everything to boost your gut health and keep you feeling fuller longer.
Pass:
- debloat+ – It’s not a fast fix for bloating and it has to be mixed with water (or another drink), which may increase discomfort if drinking is already uncomfortable.
- lean and tone aminos+ – It has a great amino acid profile, but the taste makes it difficult to down.
While a few miss the mark, most of their products are actually worth the hype. mindbodygreen supplements are best for tired professionals and parents who need a boost, aging adults who want to maintain their health, and anyone who wants simple, easy ways to live a little healthier.
mindbodygreen Supplements are Widely Varied

mindbodygreen divides its supplements across 7 categories spanning several different health benefits from your metabolism to beauty. With this many products, can we trust the quality, potency, and ingredient sourcing?
We all want supplements that are safe and effective, so we were happy to see that theirs are manufactured here in the U.S.. That means they go through four rounds of ISO testing, and so all of mindbodygreen’s supplements meet international safety standards and contain purely what it says on the label.
Naturally, the next step was finding out whether or not they really work.
1. Daily Essentials

mindbodygreen’s Daily Essentials give you eight different options to mix and match based on your body’s needs. They offer a multivitamin as well as more individual options, so that you’re not stuck taking a vitamin with extras you don’t need.
Their products currently available are:
- ultimate multivitamin+
- eye health+
- omega-3 potency+
- vitamin d3 potency+
- liver detox+
- tumeric ginger+
- vitamin c potency+
- Methylation b complex+
Their multivitamin stands out as one of the most well-rounded our team has seen. It has a wide profile of vitamins, minerals, and a unique addition of antioxidants and botanicals for longevity. Their multivitamin includes vitamin D, which is typically sourced from animal products. Instead of using traditional means, mindbodygreen sources their vitamin D and other ingredients for their multivitamin without using animals, so their multivitamin and standalone vitamin D capsule are both vegan-friendly (as are a lot of their other supplements)!
The unique sourcing and vegan-friendly approach is something we hadn’t seen in other multivitamins we’ve tested, and it was a pleasant surprise.
Who Daily Essentials are Best for:
- Busy professionals and active adults
- People who want sourced, proven daily supplements
- Individuals who value vegan-friendly options.
mindbodygreen’s Daily Essentials Product Pricing
mindbodygreen’s Daily Essentials start at $30 per bottle (which has a month’s supply in it). They offer renewal options (for 1, 3, and 6 months), which makes the product progressively less expensive, so if you’re ready to commit, it’s a great deal.
Their multivitamin is $70 for a single month purchase, but is about half that price if you purchase a 6-month supply. We felt the price was fair considering the sourcing and testing that mindbodygreen supplements go through. They aren’t drugstore cheap, but the quality and potency are so much higher, and we feel that our health is worth investing in.
2. Gut Health

With digestive issues affecting 60-70 million people and still rising, gut health is at the forefront of conversations surrounding wellness and longevity. mindbodygreen has a lineup tailored specifically to today’s digestive system. They have several different supplements that are all directed to different parts of gut health. While we didn’t try taking them all together, you likely could (with the okay from your healthcare provider, of course).
Their gut health line includes:
- debloat+
- advanced probiotic+
- organic fiber+
- beauty and gut collagen+
Fiber, once something your grandma told you to eat more of, is back again as a popular supplement, and something most people don’t get enough of. mindbodygreen’s fiber+ is organic and comes with prebiotics to pack an extra punch. It mixes easily into smoothies, yogurt, and cereal without being obtrusive. It’s also safe for kids, which is rare for supplements, so that makes it a bonus for parents!
They also offer debloat+, which combines probiotics with a prebiotic fiber called Fibersol-2. Fibersol-2 is supposed to increase the natural production of GLP-1 in the body, to keep you feeling full and help prevent cravings. While we loved this idea of debloating and GLP-1 support together, this supplement missed the mark for us, giving hit-or-miss results. It also comes in unflavored and watermelon-flavored powders, but we really would have liked to see this one as a capsule, just because drinking more when you’re already bloated may increase discomfort.
It is important to note that this product is more for daily bloating relief and works better over consistent use, rather than for emergency gas and bloating relief.
Who Gut Health Supplements are Best for:
- Individuals who want long-term gut health
- People with daily bloating
- Parents and kids who are looking to add more fiber to their daily diet.
mindbodygreen’s Gut Health Product Pricing
The organic fiber+ is $60 for a 20-serving bag if you choose a one-time purchase. The rest of their gut health line ranges from $70-$80 for a single bag or bottle. If you want to purchase in 1-, 3-, or 6-month increments, it brings the price down to $33-$40 per month for a supplement.
Especially with gut health products, you typically have to take a supplement regularly for an extended time to see the maximum results, so it made more sense to us to opt for the 3- or 6-month supply here for both affordability and effectiveness.
3. Brain Health

This is where mindbodygreen really shines in our opinion. With an increased demand for supplements to support focus, cognition, and mental longevity, mindbodygreen stepped up to the plate. They have several unique brain-based supplements, including:
- creatine brain+
- creatine with taurine+
- brain guard+
- omega-3 potency+
- focus+
We tested both of their creatine supplements and this one definitely lives up to the hype. We noticed more energy and focus in the gym and at the office. Their creatine brain+ has a branded form of citicoline known as Cognizin, which works alongside the creatine monohydrate (the gold standard form of creatine) to improve memory and mental performance, which we found noticeable after about a month of using it. They also offer creatine with taurine for increased stamina and energy in and out of the gym, which was great for after-work sweat sessions..
Something we really liked about these products is that it’s creatine for the average Joe. No bodybuilding required. The product focuses on using creatine for both physical and mental health, which is a win for anyone with a stressful life (so basically all of us).
If you want to have Cognizin without creatine, mindbodygreen has brain guard+, a capsule supplement that’s easy to add to your morning routine. We found that for sensitive stomachs, creatine monohydrate causes occasional bloating and discomfort, so brain guard+ is a great choice for brain benefits on its own.
Who Brain Health Products are Best for:
- People with mental fatigue, from office workers to CEOs
- Adults with cognitive overload from caring for children or aging parents
- Anyone who wants to wake up their brain and take care of it at the same time.
mindbodygreen’s Brain Health Product Pricing
If you want a little extra deep work time, you can get focus+ for $49 per bottle or $30/month for a 6-month supply. Both creatine options, brain+ and taurine+, cost $70 for a box of 30 single serve packs, or $35 per month with a 6 month supply.
These will probably cost more than creatine from your local Walmart or Kroger, but in our humble opinion, you get what you pay for. Creatine is no exception, and if you expect to continue using it longterm, which most users do, the multi-month supply options for Brain Health and other products are the most affordable.
4. Sleep

With so many interruptions and distractions, sleep feels nearly impossible for many people. mindbodygreen has two simple options to help you get to sleep faster and recover better:
- sleep support+
- magnesium+
We appreciated the simplicity of these two supplements because they don’t rely on ingesting melatonin for a sleep fix. Their magnesium+ product combines magnesium (proven to help calm the nervous system for more restorative sleep) with tart cherry powder that helps the body naturally produce melatonin. Magnesium is an effective alternative to melatonin, which is typically only recommended for short-term use.
If you need more help getting to sleep, sleep support+ has got you covered. It has magnesium, jujube, and GABA to help users get to sleep, stay asleep, and rest better while you are sleeping.
Who Sleep Products are Best for:
- People who have a hard time winding down at night
- Swingshift and graveyard shift workers with unusual schedules
- Parents and older adults who had difficulty sleeping.
mindbodygreen’s Sleep Products Pricing
magnesium+ is $65 for a month’s supply, dropping to $30 per month when you choose the 6-month supply option.
sleep support+, which has less magnesium, but added GABA and jujube, costs $60 for a month-long bottle or $33 per month with a 6-month supply.
mindbodygreen also frequently offers coupons or discounts on their website to lower the cost of these and other supplements.
5. Beauty

mindbodygreen’s beauty supplements have heavy crossover in their benefits. Rather than slathering your face in a cream only for it to be washed off in a few hours, they focus on beauty from the inside out.
If you’re skeptical about how much a capsule can do to improve your appearance, we get that. How glowing your skin is is a bit of a subjective metric, but regardless of how shiny we felt, we did appreciate the fact that their beauty products are all doubled up with other benefits. You can have better skin, hair, nails, and happier joints and digestion without a charcuterie board of supplements.
mindbodygreen’s beauty line includes:
- body and beauty colostrum+
- beauty and gut collagen+
- best skin+
The body and beauty colostrum+ is dual-purpose. Its two ingredients, colostrum and eggshell membrane target several body systems to leave you feeling and (theoretically) looking better. Colostrum improves digestive health and immunity. The eggshell membrane, branded as Ovoderm, has collagen and hyaluronic acid to improve joints and skin health.
beauty and gut collagen+ is another multi-faceted product. Collagen has long been used for nail, skin, and hair health. In this product, it’s been coupled with hyaluronic acid, biotin, L-glutamine, and C and E vitamins. It’s offered in unflavored and chocolate varieties, and the chocolate is a great addition to a sweet morning drink.
Who Beauty Products are Best for:
- People playing the long game with their skin, hair, and nail health
- Mid to older adults wanting to improve their hair and skin health through inside healing
- Young adults who want to keep that youthful glow beyond their youth.
mindbodygreen’s Beauty Product Pricing
beauty and gut collagen+ is either $70 per bag or $50 if you get a two-month supply.
Body and beauty colostrum+ has options for a one time purchase of $62 all the way up to a 6-month supply, which costs $39 per month.
6. Metabolic Health

If you want to improve your metabolism but aren’t up for GLP-1 injections, metabolism+ is a great place to start. mindbodygreen’s signature supplement for metabolic health (and one of their bestsellers), metabolism+, is full of natural ingredients to help you control your appetite, burn calories, and balance your blood sugar. While this is not going to have you dropping pounds like an injection will, it supports natural production of GLP-1 in your body for a less invasive effect.
Who Metabolic Health Products are Best for:
- Adults who want to lose or control their weight without relying on injectables
- Individuals wanting help curbing their appetite and food cravings
- People who need non-medical help controlling their blood sugar levels.
mindbodygreen’s Metabolic Health Product Pricing
Metabolism+ is one of mindbodygreen’s most competitively priced products, especially when you compare it to other metabolic supplements on the market. It costs $59 for a bottle with a 30-day supply. For a 6-month supply, it costs $27 per month, less than half of the original price, and totally worth it if the product is working for you.
7. Muscle Health

Most supplement companies rely on products for muscle building or strengthening, but as you’ve probably read by now, mindbodygreen is not that business. But despite their everyday line of products displayed at the forefront, their muscle health supplement game is still strong. They have plenty of options for everyone from the occasional gym goer to the dedicated athlete.
Their muscle health products all focus on providing real health benefits, not temporary fixes or shortcuts (think super-stim preworkouts). In addition to the creatine brain+ and creatine with taurine+ we covered earlier, mindbodygreen’s muscle products include:
- clear whey protein+
- creatine tone+
- creatine with magnesium+
- lean and tone aminos+
- grass-fed whey protein isolate+
- creatine with electrolytes+
There’s a form of creatine or protein here for just about everyone. Creatine is one of mindbodygreen’s most popular supplements, and they have several formulations available so you can hit multiple goals with a single supplement.
They have a magnesium version if you need help with recovery. If you’re taking on a sweaty gym session, hot yoga class, or the latest Hyrox, mindbodygreen has creatine with electrolytes to help improve your endurance and recovery.
mindbodygreen also recently released its lean and tone aminos+ supplement, which we have to admit, wasn’t our favorite. Amino acids can help with muscle repair and recovery and improve overall physical performance, making the product a worthwhile addition to their line The flavor was just out of character compared to the other supplements we’ve tried. We’re hoping future iterations of this supplement will be unflavored or taste a bit better, because amino acids are a valuable supplement, especially for endurance athletes and people who love to go hard (and wind up sore) from the gym.
For the die-hard protein lovers, there’s clear whey protein (in a delicious lemonade flavor) and whey protein isolate in simple flavors, which is great. Because really, does anyone need Captain Crunch or Cosmic Brownie flavored protein? We appreciated the simplicity of the protein flavors here. It makes it easy to mix other supplements in without overflavoring your drink. Their whey protein isolates are also available in travel packs for you to throw in your bag for post-work workouts.
Who Muscle Health Products are Best for:
- The average gym goer who wants those gains
- Middle to older adults who want to gain or maintain muscle mass and strength
- Individuals who want to have more energy in and out of the gym.
mindbodygreen’s Muscle Health Product Pricing
All of mindbodygreen’s protein supplements are available in bulk 20-serving bags for $69 if you make a single purchase, or $41 if you choose a 120-day supply. You can also get 10 travel packs for $39.
Creatine products range from $55 to $75 per bag or $27 to $33 per month if you opt for their 6-month supply.
mindbodygreen as a Whole: Pass or Purchase?

There’s a lot of supplement brands out there. That’s stating the obvious. While no single brand is perfect, mindbodygreen is hands down one of the best. Their devotion to quality products, ISO testing, and whole body wellness make them stand out from pop-up or influencer brands.
They’ve proved their longevity in the wellness industry, and no doubt will stay there. Our favorite mindbodygreen products like their creatine and multivitamins will continue to live in our pantries, and we’d consider coming back to try updated versions of the products we didn’t love quite so much. We love a brand made for the everyday person, by people like us who want to live our lives a little healthier, a little better every day.
As with all supplements, we recommend talking with your healthcare provider before making any changes to your diet, exercise routine, and before adding or removing any supplements.
